Tangerine oilis extracted from the fruit peel through cold expression method. It is knownfor its antiseptic, antimicrobial, digestive, antispasmodic, hypnotic,carminative, cytophylactic, laxative, diuretic, stimulant and tonic properties.

It is alsoknown as Citrus nobilis, Citrus unshiu, Citrus madurensis, and Citrusdeliciosa.  This oil can be used well when blended withvarious essential oils including cinnamon, lemon, myrrh, black pepper,chamomile, geranium, nutmeg, rose, neroli, palmarosa, patchouli, jasmine,petitgrain, sandalwood, sage, ylang ylang, and basil.

Uses of Tangerine oil:

1. It can be used as a massage oil or bath oilwhich is very effective for the nervous system. The fragrance of the tangerineoil helps to promote happiness. It gives calming and relaxing effect which isgood to drive away anxiety and stress as well as nervousness and depression.
